Korea Maeil Business Network TV interviewed ICST on October 14th, and the program was aired on November 9th.

ICST started sales of N99 Respirator Mask which NIOSH certified to have a filter efficiency of 99% of airborne particles (FFP3 approved by EC as well). N99 Respirator Mask help prevent Swine flu or other flu infection.

This mask can be worn up to 28 days without loosing its filtration or antimicrobial efficacy.

China Trademark registration for "Nozomi" (Class 9 No.5319174, Class 10 No.5319176) was completed.

The Trade Mark was registered in Class 1, 3, 9, 10 and 11. The application date is the valid date in India, so Registration date is April 7th,2009.

The European Society of Anesthesiology Meeting 2009 will be held on June 7-0th, 2009 in Milano, Italia.

In the Meeting, Oridion Medical 1987 Ltd will hold Lunch & Learn Symposium on June 7th (Sun.)12:15-13:45 at The Pink 3 Hall, with the theme "Sedation procedures: Improved Monitering for Patient Safety", moderated by professor Hans Knape, University Medical Center Utrecht.

Form 13 into 15 October,2008, The 36th Annual Meeting of the Association for Acute Medicine, in Sapporo, was convened and was closed. At there exhibition, our Ordion Medical's production was displayed in A&D Company Ltd.'s booth. We displayed Micro Cap sereise and Micro Cap plus was displayed with kit of consumable in A&D Company Ltd.'s productions.

ICST acquired the certification of ISO 13485:2003 that is an international standard for the quality assurance of medical equipment (The certification number: JP08/040134). Coverage is the import and sales of pulse-oximeter, Capnometer, and accessories concerned. ISO 9001:2000, which we already acquired, also had done the update application at the same time, and we acquired the certification of Import and sales of pulse-oximeter, Capnometer, and accessories concerned and sales standard of Medical treatment and the health equipment, and trade them.

"The 36th Annual Meeting of Japanese Dental Society Of Anesthesiology" was held by the Osaka University convention center from 8 to10 on October. ICST exhibited the micro cap series of Oridion in the externals booth of A&D Company, Ltd.

The chance to use anesthetizing increases and the recognition of the necessity has risen to the odontology department about the breath monitor in anesthetizing. Especially, there was also demand for the handheld type and the micro cap series that was able to be carried was popular among a lot of doctors in the odontology department area, where a lot of house call treatments existed.

We completed the registration of a design of an electronic clinical thermometer in the foreign country.

ICST completed the registration of a design of an electronic clinical thermometer dated July 27, 2005 in Japan. (A partial design: registration No.1305961 and a whole design: registration No.1308819). Then, we had been advanced this and, now, we completed the registration of a design in one region and two countries; Europe, Russia, and China. ICST will continue and advance the registration of the design and the patent, etc. in Japan and the foreign country in the future.

The 14th Annual Meeting The Japanese Society of Pediatric Anesthesiology was held in Toshi Center Hotel in Tokyo from 29 to 30 in August. ICST exhibited our micro cap series of Oridion and the consumption in the booth.

Doctors of the anesthetizing department, their recognition to Capnography was high more than our company imagines it. Mainly, our following productions were focused by them; Filter line for cannulation "VitaLine H Set Neonate/Infant" which is for neonate and infant and can be used for a long-time. From 29 August to 30 August, 2008, in TOSHI CENTER HOTEL (Tokyo), The 14th Annual Meeting The Japanese Society of Pediatoric Anesthesiology will be organized. ICST will take part in exhibition which attached to there. In this time, we have a plan to introduce Oridion Medical's new production.

ICST Corporation added "Smart BiteBlocTM" to Oridion Medical's consumable tool which we are dealing and selling in Japan. This is to monitor sedative procedure in upper-endoscopy and is production which was combined BiteBloc and Sampling-tube.

In endoscopy, sedation procedure is generally done. However, if anesthesia were so deep, it has a possible that patients were to lose consciousness and to be respiratory stoppage. In this surgery, because Doctor and Nurse is concentrating on handling endoscopy, sometimes they find it lately. However, if they connected Smart BiteBloc with series of Microcap, it were to be easy and possible for them to monitor respiratory in endoscopy, to be able to know patient's respiratory stoppage and to be able to deal smoothly procedure.
